Winter in the mid-1970’s in Tornio, northern border between Finland and Sweden. 12-year-old Esko climbs on to the railing of a railroad bridge. He is about to do handcuff king Harry Houdini’s most difficult trick and jump from the bridge into the water with his hands cuffed.
