It’s here again and we invite you to attend the 10th European Film Festival at MovieTowne. This is MovieTowne’s 4th year hosting this event and each year it gets bigger and better. This year we have more films and more countries participating than ever before with 28 films from across 12 European nations. The European Film Festival can be enjoyed by the whole family with a variety of foreign films. Some movies are presented in foreign languages with English sub-titles. Due to the success of this festival, other missions have joined us by sharing their countries’ culture through the arts and film. The first Trinidad & Tobago Film Festival was recently completed and following our European Film Festival, there will be the first ever Latin American Film Festival for those interested in Latin American culture.

EUROPEAN NATIONS PROMOTIONAL DISPLAY
The European Nations will have their countries on display via an educational display in MovieTowne’s lobby for the duration of the festival. Please pass by and get more information on the movies in this year’s festival, as well as, take a look at the other literature available on the participating countries.
SCHOOL OUTINGS
This is also a great idea for a school outing, especially for the language students. These students will get to have fun and experience a foreign film in a unique way. This year we have added the 11:00am show time on our schedule for the entire three weeks of the schedule to make it more convenient for schools to attend. Schools can research the movies on our website or in the brochures available and can call MovieTowne at 627-2002 to confirm their bookings for these school visits.
CHILDREN’S FILMS
You will also find films suitable for kids with four films being featured from France, Germany, UK and The Netherlands. Again this is a great opportunity to expose kids from an early age to other cultures and styles.
WIN GREAT PRIZES
There are fantastic prizes to be won when you come to any movie in the 10th European Film Festival. Simply buy a ticket for any of the films in the festival, fill out a short questionnaire and entry form and try your luck. Deposit your entry form in the box at MovieTowne's guest services desk. Winners will be drawn randomly from all entries received. Winners will be contacted. You could be the lucky winner of any of the following great prizes:
